This essay highlights the philosophical views of Jotï, an Indigenous group from Venezuelan Amazon. Daily Jotï behaviors are embraced by a notion life in which everything is interconnected (mana jtïdemame) and should be respected given its sacredness (jkïmañe). Furthermore, perennial movement (jkeibïae dekae) designed to carried out together groups (uliyena majadïka). The maintenance related engaging solidarity, reciprocity, amicability (me madöna), with these values being key metaphor for hunting-gathering-farming-fishing rather than predation. universe populated myriad entities unique capacities, volitions, motivations (budëkïmade)—like those people, regardless their nonhuman appearances—evidence that universe’s inherent condition subjective, all forms originated same root. Likewise, no landscape or form pristine final; instead, potentially subject ceaseless transformation (jka ojtali ~ jkabaemade). Those reasons provide basis why every person strive righteousness (nï jti maudöna), endeavoring morally good practicing love-care surrounds us (jkyo jkwainï). Love-care translation praxis considered innate essential constituent persons. It also fundamental strategy sustain protect life. Given nothing prevents anywhere world embracing love care as motto while struggling prevent current path destruction Earth, enactment endless possibility location time.
